Vista Lighting Shipping & Delivery Policy

Vista Lighting (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to providing reliable shipping and delivery services for our customers. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how orders are processed, shipped, delivered, and handled in the event of delays, damages, or other shipping-related issues.

By placing an order on vistalighting.co, you agree to the terms below.


1. Shipping Eligibility & Free Shipping Offer

1.1 Free Standard Shipping

We offer free standard shipping on orders of $149 or more shipping to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states), unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Free shipping applies only to:

  • Eligible items

  • Standard ground shipping

  • Deliveries within the contiguous United States

Free shipping does not apply to:

  • Freight, oversized, or heavy items

  • White-glove or inside delivery services

  • Expedited shipping

  • Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations

  • Special-order or supplier-direct items where additional carrier fees apply

Vista Lighting reserves the right to exclude specific products or suppliers from free shipping where carrier or supplier charges materially exceed standard rates.


2. Order Processing Times

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment authorization, excluding weekends and U.S. holidays.

Certain items, including supplier-direct, custom, made-to-order, or out-of-stock products, may require extended processing or manufacturing lead times. These lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.


3. Shipping Methods & Carriers

We ship using a variety of carriers, including but not limited to:

  • FedEx

  • UPS

  • USPS

  • Freight carriers for oversized or heavy items

Carrier selection is determined at our discretion based on package size, weight, destination, supplier requirements, and service availability.


4. Delivery Timeframes (Estimates Only)

Standard ground shipping within the contiguous United States typically takes 3–7 business days after shipment.

Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guarantees. Delays may occur due to:

  • Carrier disruptions

  • Weather events

  • Supply chain constraints

  • Customs delays (international)

  • Incorrect address information

  • Supplier or manufacturer delays

Vista Lighting is not responsible for carrier delays outside of our control.


5. Freight, Oversized & Special Deliveries

Certain large or heavy items may ship via freight carriers.

5.1 Freight Deliveries

  • Freight shipments are typically delivered curbside only.

  • Delivery appointments may be required.

  • A carrier representative may contact you to schedule a delivery window.

  • Someone must be present to receive the shipment.

Additional services (inside delivery, room of choice, unboxing, debris removal) are not included unless explicitly purchased.

5.2 Access Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring:

  • Accurate delivery address details

  • Adequate access for delivery trucks

  • Compliance with building or HOA delivery rules

  • Availability during the scheduled delivery window

Failed delivery attempts, storage fees, or re-delivery charges may be billed to you.


6. Address Accuracy & Delivery Issues

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.

Vista Lighting is not responsible for:

  • Orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer

  • Lost or delayed shipments due to address errors

  • Additional carrier fees resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for re-shipping fees.


7. Risk of Loss & Title Transfer

Unless otherwise required by law:

Risk of loss and title transfer to you once the order is handed to the shipping carrier or freight provider.

If you arrange your own carrier or pickup, risk of loss transfers at the time of pickup.


8. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information.

Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear in the carrier’s system.


9. Damaged, Defective, or Missing Items

9.1 Inspection Requirement

You must inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incomplete, you must notify us within 5 business days of delivery by emailing sales@vistalighting.co and providing:

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos of the item and packaging

  • Carrier tracking number

For freight deliveries, you must note visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing.

Failure to report damage within the stated timeframe may result in denial of a claim to the maximum extent permitted by law.


10. Lost Shipments

If a shipment is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will work with the carrier to initiate a claim.

Vista Lighting is not responsible for lost shipments resulting from:

  • Address errors

  • Package theft after confirmed delivery

  • Delivery to unsecured locations at your request

Any replacement or refund is subject to carrier claim resolution and our discretion.


11. International Shipping (Case-by-Case)

Vista Lighting may offer international shipping on a case-by-case basis.

International shipping terms:

  • Shipping quotes provided after checkout

  • Duties, taxes, brokerage, and customs fees are the customer’s responsibility

  • Lead times are estimates only

  • International sales may be final sale

  • Payment must clear before shipment

12. Order Cancellations & Shipping Charges

Orders may be cancelled only if they have not entered fulfillment or been transmitted to a supplier.

If an order is cancelled after shipment:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

  • Restocking fees may apply per our Return Policy


13. Force Majeure

Vista Lighting is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, carrier shutdowns, pandemics, war, supply chain disruptions, or government actions.


14. Policy Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
